Why choose Froddo Barefoot Tex Autumn water-resistant autumn boots at Cacles Barefoot?
-
Froddo Tex technical waterproof membrane: An internal protective layer that blocks water and external moisture from entering, while allowing the foot to breathe to stay dry on any outdoor adventure.
-
LWG-certified water-repellent natural leather: Made from soft, eco-friendly European cowhide leather, treated to repel splashes and water.
-
Double velcro closure: Allows for quick, precise, and independent adjustment over the instep and ankle, making it easy for boys and girls to put them on by themselves.
-
Soft technical textile lining: A comfortable internal lining that provides a soft layer of warmth for cooler autumn days without overheating the foot.
-
Removable flat leather insole: Includes a completely removable smooth insole to make checking the size and airing out the footwear easy.
-
Handcrafted in Croatia: Ethically produced in Europe by the specialist brand Froddo under strict quality and sustainability controls.
Benefits of the Froddo barefoot design
-
Barefoot sensation (Zero Drop): Completely flat sole with no heel elevation, which encourages an upright posture and promotes natural biomechanical development.
-
Anatomical wide toe box: A very spacious toe box with dedicated space for the big toe, ensuring free expansion of the metatarsals when walking or running.
-
Extra-flexible rubber sole: A thin, malleable rubber base that is flexible in all directions, offering excellent grip and traction on wet or slippery surfaces.

Cleaning and maintenance tips
-
Routine cleaning: Remove dried dirt or mud using a soft-bristled brush or a cloth slightly dampened with cold water.
-
Leather care and waterproofing: To maintain the leather's water resistance and protect the Froddo Tex membrane, it is recommended to periodically apply a suitable textile/leather waterproofing spray.
-
Air drying: If the interior gets wet, remove the insole and let it dry naturally in the shade in a well-ventilated area. Avoid using dryers, radiators, or direct heat sources to prevent damaging the leather or the sealed membrane.
