Why choose Froddo Barefoot Tex Autumn water-resistant autumn barefoot boots at Cacles Barefoot?
-
Froddo Tex waterproof technical membrane: An internal protective layer that blocks water and external moisture, allowing the foot to breathe to stay dry during any outdoor adventure.
-
LWG-certified water-repellent natural leather: Made from soft, environmentally friendly European cowhide leather, treated to repel splashes and water.
-
Double velcro closure: Allows for quick, precise, and independent adjustment over the instep and ankle, making it easy for boys and girls to put their shoes on by themselves.
-
Soft technical textile lining: A comfortable internal lining that provides a gentle layer of warmth for cooler autumn days without overheating the foot.
-
Removable flat leather insole: Includes a completely removable smooth insole to facilitate constant size checks and shoe aeration.
-
Handcrafted in Croatia: Ethically produced in Europe by the specialist brand Froddo under strict quality and sustainability controls.
Benefits of the Froddo barefoot design
-
Barefoot feel (Zero Drop): A completely flat sole with no heel elevation that promotes an upright posture and encourages natural biomechanical development.
-
Anatomical wide toe box: A very spacious toe area with dedicated space for the big toe, ensuring free expansion of the metatarsals when walking or running.
-
Extra-flexible rubber sole: A thin and malleable rubber base in all directions that offers excellent grip and traction on wet or slippery surfaces.

Cleaning and maintenance tips
-
Regular cleaning: Remove dirt or dry mud using a soft-bristled brush or a cloth slightly dampened with cold water.
-
Leather care and waterproofing: To maintain the leather's water resistance and protect the Froddo Tex membrane, it is recommended to periodically apply a suitable textile/leather waterproofing spray.
-
Room temperature drying: If the inside gets damp, remove the insole and let it dry naturally in the shade in a well-ventilated area. Avoid using dryers, radiators, or direct heat sources to prevent damaging the leather or the sealed membrane.
